Case Study – Brush Knuckles | From Design to Manufacturing

The journey of Brush Knuckles started off as a long road.  The founder of Brush Knuckles originally contracted with another design firm to develop his idea into a product for commercialization.  After many months of back and forth communications and lack of progress, Brush Knuckles contacted 3D Innovations for assistance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After reviewing the information provided by the client, 3D Innovations took over the project and continued the development process.  With the many months wasted with working with the other design firm, 3D Innovations jumped right in and completed the design quickly and made prototypes for testing.  After a few iterations of the 3D Printed prototypes, a final design was approved for manufacturing.  Since a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) was already created, the testing phase was completed quickly.

Moving into the manufacturing phase for mass production required a mold for the handle and technical manufacturing drawings for the placement and assembly of the bristles.  Both were created and sent to a manufacture within 3D Innovations’ network of manufacturers to begin producing.

With the expertise of 3D Innovations, the Brush Knuckles cleaning brush was manufactured and ready for its initial launch.
